Grand Circle Island Tour

This sweeping tour of the Big Island serves to highlight one of its most popular sightseeing spots, from one of the world's most active volcanoes to the second largest cowboy ranch in the United States. Sit back in air-conditioned comfort, listen to the rich narration and survey the multitude of marvels Hawaii has to offer. Your 260-mile odyssey begins with a visit to Kilauea Volcano where sulfurous steam billowing out from deep fissures in the earth recreates a primeval setting. A cruise through Hilo Town, the floral center of the islands, displays vast fields of colorful orchids and vibrant anthuriums. A stop will be made at a nursery and a candy store. Time permitting, you'll view delicate fans of sun-streaked rainbows hovering over Rainbow Falls as it plunges 80 feet over a volcanic cliff.
