Summit County, Colorado is called “Colorado’s Playground” because of its many ski resorts. Copper Mountain is the largest of its resorts with 2,400 acres of prime powder and 16 miles of cross-country trails. Bigger is definitely better when combined with a long ski season, many sunny days and 280 inches of annual snowfall.

Despite its ample slopes, Copper Mountain resembles a small village. It’s a favorite of locals who enjoy skiing and enjoy its authentic, non-touristy feel, not to mention the shorter wait times.

During the summer, Copper Mountain ski lifts pull double-duty by presenting hiking and mountain biking trails, while the local golf course, whitewater rafting and nearby fishing make Copper a true four-season destination.
