After the reservation has a deposit or full payment, a Romance travel specialist will contact the customer to confirm the ceremony date and time. Upon confirmation, a wedding coordinator in Hawaii will contact the customer to coordinate and finalize the ceremony details.

• Couple should allow 2 business days before ceremony for the license application process at the Department of Health.
• Department of Health is open Monday – Friday, 8am to 4pm (excluding Oct 8 & 29; Nov 2, 11, 19, 25 & 26; Dec 10, 17, 24 & 31, 2010, and Jan 14, 17 & 28; Feb 4, 18 & 21; Mar 11, 18 & 25; Apr 1, 22 & 29; May 6, 20 & 30; and June 10, 17 & 24, 2011).

• Legal age to marry is 18 years of age. Persons 16 or 17 years of age must have written consent of both parents, legal guardian, or the family court.
• A certified copy of a birth certificate must be presented for anyone 18 years of age and under. A valid driver's license or I.D. may be presented for anyone 19 years of age and over.
• If previously married, proof of original divorce decree or death certificate needs to be presented to the marriage agent if the divorce or death was finalized within 30 days of applying for a marriage license. No faxes will be accepted.

• Couple must appear together in person before a marriage license agent to apply for a marriage license. Proxies are not allowed.
• The couple should be prepared to provide the necessary proof of age and present any required written consents and approvals. All of the necessary documents should be obtained prior to applying for a marriage license.
• The couple must prepare an official application and file the application in person with the marriage license agent. • Upon approval, a marriage license is issued at the time the application is made.
