  Commencing September 5, 2012, the LaPlaya will be undergoing construction work in front of the Porte Cohere, the estimated date for completion will be September 25th. During this time guests will be using the Private Club entrance for valet, the Club is closed to members during the month of September and disruption to guests will be minimal. The LaPlaya will be installing a professional privacy wall around the area of the construction to minimize any visual issues. There will be heavy equipment on site in front of the hotel and there will be some noise at the beginning of the project, which is estimated to be between September 10th . 17th, no work will commence until after 8:30am each day.
