Kahaluu Beach Park, one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii, is adjacent the resort grounds. A complimentary shuttle is available to the nearby Keauhou Shopping Center and Kona town. The 10 acre property was once part of a large ancient Hawaiian community with a rich cultural past encompassing ancient petroglyphs, a king's beach house and canoe landing, and the sacred bathing pool once used by ancient royalty. Cultural workshops and presentations are offered throughout the year. |
