Holy Week in Costa Rica: Businesses involved in tourism stay open for the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, however everything else closes. EXCEPTION; All bars (including hotel bars) are closed in Costa Rica on Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Watersports and tours will be operating as usual on those days. - Minimum check-in age: 18
