Update March 17, 2010:

The $1.6 million lobby enhancement project begins April 12, 2010, with an expected completion date of July 31, 2010. The project includes new flooring, wall coverings, lighting, artwork, and décor. Work will be done Monday through Friday only, 8am . 4:30pm. Work areas will be cordoned off from view and most heavy work will be completed during the first two weeks. For the duration of the project, the Front Desk and Activities Desk will be moved to a clearly marked unit adjacent to the lobby. The four low-rise buildings will not be affected by the construction and will remain open throughout the project. From April 12th through April 30th, the Aloha Tower, in which the lobby is located, will be closed. Starting May 1st, only the upper floors of the tower will be available to guests in order to create a buffer zone to minimize noise and disturbance. Both the Day Spa and the One Stop General Store will be closed for the duration of the project and will reopen in August.

Update August 12, 2008:

The $1.4 million dollar Coconut Pool improvement project is completed; features new decking, in-pool seating, a modern jet spa, Tiki torches, thatched roof umbrellas, and Hawaiian-inspired landscaping. All pools now open.
