Construction

Renovations: 2008; 2009
Update June 11, 2009:
The construction is over. Final landscaping touches to a new center garden courtyard and porte cochere will be completed by July 1, 2009. Property now features new palm tree lined entrance, new porte cochere, and three tiered fountain. The garden courtyard now features a waterfall and koi pond, wider pathways, and a new garden bridge. The beachfront pool deck was upgraded and now features an enlarged whirlpool spa, new lounge furniture, and poolside cabanas.
Update January 22, 2009:
Landscaping improvements are continuing for the front entrance and courtyard and are now expected to be completed by June 30, 2009. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Update December 1, 2008:
Beachfront pool, with new pool pavers, an enlarged whirlpool spa, and new lounge furniture, was re-opened on November 24. The front entrance driveway and center courtyard enhancements are still in progress. From December 19, 2008 through January 4, 2009 all construction will be suspended.
Update July 21, 2008:
Due to increased construction activity for the driveway, parking garage, and courtyard area enhancements, the property is replacing the existing renovation special(10% discount, welcome amenity, pineapple, and Aloha Basket) with a significantly reduced no-frills construction rate for all categories. Work will continue to be done Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Update April 8, 2008:
Repair work on their underground garage, which impacts the driveway and courtyard, has begun and will continue through June 15, 2008. Beautification of the courtyard will begin on or around June 15 (when the garage repair work is completed) and will continue through July 31, 2009. Work will be done Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Guests staying during this time will receive a 10% discount on their room rate, a welcome complimentary sliced pineapple in their room, and an Aloha Basket on arrival.
