  As of 7/13/10:

  To enhance the guest experience, a new spa is currently under construction in the lower level of the "fortress" section of the hotel. All efforts are being made to minimize disruption to the guests. The spa is expected to be completed by December 15, 2010.

  The Blue Marlin Restaurant will be temporarily closed for structural refurbishment and is expected to re-open on July 15, 2010. Government regulation and required documentation to get married in the Dominican Republic (legal civil ceremony):

• Civil ceremonies are not performed on Sundays

• Certified copy of birth certificates with parents' names (translated into Spanish; must be certified by an official Judge at the Dominican Republic Consulate in the United States).
