Resort is open and operational. However, there is construction happening on site, so there are construction crews and trailer present around the property.

Several restaurants, shops and services are open and available and more scheduled to open in Spring of 2007. The Lands End accommodations, the Lands End pool and the Nature Center are scheduled to open in April 2007.

• Captiva Island and South Seas suffered great damage during the 2005 hurricane season. Much improvement. has been made and the area is recovering, but evidence of the storms can still be found.
