Hurricane Travel Policy

Delta Vacations' hurricane travel policy ensures that you can purchase your vacation with confidence.

In the event that an airline issued waiver is in effect for a storm in your origin city or vacation destination and you have a confirmed reservation that meet the waiver guidelines, you can cancel your reservation up to the moment of scheduled departure. You then have the following options:

  1. Rebook your vacation without penalties to any other Delta Vacations destination for departure within the departure dates listed in the waiver guidelines.
    • You must rebook within the booking dates listed in the booking guidelines
    • If the cost of the new reservation exceeds the cost of the original reservation, you are responsible for any additional cost
    • If the cost of the new reservation is less than the original reservation, the balance will be refunded to you in the form of a gift card valid for booking any destination within one year for travel anytime, based on availability
  2. Cancel your vacation and receive a gift card refund, valid for booking another destination within 60 days for travel anytime, based on availability. A $50 per person service fee will be assessed.

If you purchased the Travel Protection Plan, you have additional hurricane coverage options.
